Chelsea attacker awarded PL goal of the month for stunning strike

Pedro has been awarded the goal of the month award for his stunning effort against Everton.

Our fixture at Goodison Park was, on paper, the toughest remaining. However, Antonio Conte’s side brushed past the Toffees in a 3-0 victory.

The first of the three goals came from Pedro. The Spanish international shifted the ball onto his left-foot on the edge of the penalty area, and what he produced next was special. Pedro fired home into the top corner of the Everton goal to give Chelsea the lead.

The brilliance of Pedro’s strike has not gone unnoticed, as he was awarded the goal of the month award for April – and there can be few arguments that he didn’t deserve it.

Despite Totteham’s recent capitulation, Heung-Min Son and Mauricio Pochettino were awarded player and manager of the month respectively. That’s the only trophy they’ll be getting their hands on this campaign, as it often is.
