Real Madrid target suggests he will stay at Chelsea for two more years

This is the news we have all been waiting for – it doesn’t look as though Eden Hazard will be going anywhere this summer.

As the Straits Times report, Hazard has been continuously linked with a move to Real Madrid, but the Belgium international appears to be fully committed to the Premier League champions.

The Straits Times quote Hazard, who insists that he is happy at Stamford Bridge, and suggests that he could stay for a couple more years before departing West London:

“I’m good here. I’m at one of the best clubs in the world and I think I’m gonna stay for a couple of years. I’m very happy. You can see on the pitch that I’m happy.”

Though Hazard has left the door open for a move away from Chelsea at some point in the future, it is great to see that he appears to be focused on the task at hand for us next season.

If we are going to remain competitive domestically, while also challenging in the Champions League, we will need Hazard to be at his very best – he is one of the best players in the world.
