Now here’s an interesting one…
In case you haven’t heard, the Express linked Chelsea with a January move for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey. The Jamaican joined the Bundesliga outfit from Genk and has progressed considerably during his time in Germany.
One man that Bailey would be battling for game-time if he did arrive at Stamford Bridge is academy product Charly Musonda, who has been kept this term as part of the first-team squad.
Musonda posted a photo on Instagram describing himself as “the FUTURE” of Chelsea, and Bailey decided to comment on the post. Are we looking too much into this?

The answer is: yes. Reliable Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur was quick to clarify that there is a concrete link between Bailey and Musonda, and the former was not just looking to buddy up to a potential future teammate.
