The Chelsea Twitter admin has some explaining to do…
The Premier League champions were held to a 0-0 draw for the third time in a week against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon. It was a stale encounter and Antonio Conte’s men did not look likely to break down the Foxes’ back-line at any point in the contest.
Chelsea now appear to have taken their foot entirely off the gas and are already beginning to canter towards the end of the season – even though the is still plenty to play for.
Professional snooker player Neil Robertson, who is also a Chelsea fan, has concerns of his own. He sent out the below tweet drawing comparisons between this campaign and 2010/11.

Chelsea finished in second place behind only Manchester United and finished the season without winning a trophy. Our shortfalls ultimately cost Carlo Ancelotti his job.
The similarities are clear to see, and whoever was active on the official Chelsea Twitter account yesterday evening appears to agree.
An eagle-eyed Twitter user spotted that Robertson’s tweet had in fact been ‘liked’ by @chelseafc themselves.
Even the OFFICIAL Chelsea page liked this tweet of relating this season with Conte to Ancelotti’s final year…

What a sorry state of affairs when even the club’s official account is agreeing with the negative sentiments of the fans.
We are still in the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Champions League. The title may be lost, but we can’t afford to throw in the towel. If Conte can motivate his troops once more, we can still make this a season to remember.
