Chelsea star duo can form deadly partnership at Stamford Bridge, claims Premier League veteran

Premier League veteran Danny Higginbotham believes Chelsea will be a real attacking force when Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard combine in the same team, the Daily Star reports.

The Spaniard’s ability to score goals has already been on display since his from Real Madrid, which the Daily Star claim set Chelsea back £60M. Whilst Eden Hazard has just recovered from an ankle injury that left him out of action for three months.

The pair were relentless against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last Wednesday. So when the two eventually settle in the same Chelsea side, Higginbotham believes the duo could be a great partnership.

Higginbotham is quoted by the Daily Star saying:

“For Morata to get the goals that he’s got with, more often than not, Hazard not being in the team.  Imagine what it might be like now with Hazard back in the team, giving Morata more assists.”

The international break has come at a good time for Morata to recover and get fit, whilst not missing any club matches. Belgium captain Hazard, will also seek further minutes for his country in the coming days.

The thought of Morata and Hazard linking up together will bring joy to many Blues fans.

Hopefully the pair will be back as soon as possible as we hope to get back to winning ways in the league.
