Eden Hazard has found a silver lining since missing the start of the season with an ankle injury, the Standard reports.
The forward was a big miss for Chelsea at the start of the season, even on the opening day of the season, losing 3-2 to Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
It took time for Hazard to shake off the injury that had been looming him over the summer. But when speaking to the Standard, the 26-year-old insists he is feeling great out on the pitch.
The Standard quotes Hazard saying:
“I am in good form. Since I came back from the injury I have been feeling good.”
Hazard’s importance to this team was shown against West Brom
The combination between Hazard and fellow strike partner Alvaro Morata was relentless at The Hawthorns.
The Spaniard’s deft flick allowed Hazard to break through the defensive line, round the goalkeeper, putting breathing space between the two teams. It’s ridiculous how easy our three-time Player of the Year makes things look.
If the Champions are to defend their crown, Hazard is going to have to produce these performances on a consistent basis. League leaders Manchester City’s form is worrying but when Hazard is in our team, we’ve got every chance of winning the title.
