Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League. Anyone who denies this is either an idiot or a Liverpool fan. Though, those two often go hand-in-hand.
Hazard has proven time and time again that he’s head and shoulders everyone else in the league. He’s the only player in the country who has threatened to break into the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo bracket, which says it all.
The Belgian wizard has been our star-man this season once again. He has directly contributed to more goals than any other player in the league. We’re finally seeing the productivity to compliment his excellent performances.
Hazard may look back on 2018 as a tale of two halves, things were difficult under Antonio Conte towards the end. He did, however, dominate through the calendar year in one area, and it’s an important one.

We can only imagine how many assists Hazard would rack-up if he had a quality striker ahead of him. This ought to serve as evidence that Chelsea need to bring one in if they have any hope of taking the team to the next level.
