Cesar Azpilicueta has been honoured by the Premier League after racking up 200 appearances in England’s top tier.
Scarcely have we seen a player as consistent as Azpilicueta, who is also able to sustain his incomparable fitness levels. It’s no surprise that he’s hit this milestone.
Azpilicueta has been a starring figure in two Premier League title triumphs during his time at Stamford Bridge. He is already one of the greatest defenders in our history, despite still being in the midst of his prime years.
Azpilicueta has been given a modicum or the recognition he deserves in the form of a 200 appearance accolade, awarded by by the Premier League.
Congratulations, Azpi! We fancy him to hit the 300 mark, at least. He has been reborn as a right-back in Maurizio Sarri’s system. This is supposedly his natural position. It’s hard to believe that he could get any bet. We wouldn’t bet against it, though…
