Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus has pleaded to his club to sign Michy Batshuayi on a permanent transfer, Bild reports.
The Belgian has been on fire since joining the German club on loan in January, scoring seven goals in nine games.
On Sunday, the on-loan Chelsea striker bagged a brace, including a last minute winner in Dortmund’s 3-2 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
This result could prove to be vital in the table as Batshauyi’s temporary club, like Chelsea, have ambitions to play in the Champions League next season.

When speaking to Bild, Reus wishes that his club will keep hold of the 24-year-old beyond the end of this season.
Reus is quoted by Bild saying:
“I’d be very pleased if Michy were to stay. He’s shown how important he can be for us.”
The form of Batshuayi is great news for Chelsea in the hope he can come back to the Blues next season with great confidence. The worst case scenario would be selling him at an increasingly high market value in the summer.
