Former Chelsea keeper needlessly disrespects the Blues once again

Thibaut Courtois has felt the need to disrespect his Chelsea teammates even further when discussing his happiness as a Real Madrid player.

Courtois will already be an unpopular figure in the Chelsea camp after the way he conducted himself towards the end of his time at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian went AWOL from Chelsea training in order to force through a move away from the club. It was a decision that exposed all of his dislikable traits.

Courtois has now embarked on a new chapter in his career, yet, for whatever reason, has felt the need to talk about his former employers in a negative manner.

Speaking after making his debut for Los Blancos, Courtois is quoted by the Metro saying:

“In training, you see that the level at Real Madrid is high. I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Ramos is the best centre-back in the world. The level at Real Madrid is higher than at Chelsea.”

There was absolutely no reason for Courtois to bring Chelsea into the equation. He has further burnt the bridge between himself and the Blues.
