These Chelsea fans were not happy with Maurizio Sarri’s decision to start Willian against Manchester United this afternoon.

You’d think that Chelsea fans would have learnt to trust Sarri’s judgement after the electric start to the season we have enjoyed.

The Italian remains unbeaten in the Premier League and headed into today’s game level on points with Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the table.

However, Sarri does not get to have earned Chelsea fans’ full faith in his decision making. At least, that’s implied by many’s reaction to Willian starting against United.

Willian has struggled during periods at Chelsea, but he’s a two-time title winner and two-time winner of our player of the year award. His inclusion in the team for a game of this magnitude is no surprise.
