Thomas Tuchel has said fans have nothing to worry about when it comes to Mason Mount’s future at Chelsea.
Tuchel was speaking in his first press conference as Chelsea head coach following a whirlwind few days since his appointment on Tuesday.
Mount did not start the German’s first game during the Blues’ 0-0 draw with Wolves last night, however, he showed he’s willing to fight for his spot with an impressive cameo off the bench.
Under Frank Lampard the young midfielder was a mainstay in the team, playing 90 minutes in all but four of Chelsea’s Premier League matches this season.
He has chipped in with two goals and three assists so far in the league, however, it is his ability to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and drive the team on which has seen him lauded with praise. (transfermarkt)
