Chelsea visit Liverpool on Saturday afternoon in what could prove to be an early six-pointer in the race for Champions League qualification.
Antonio Conte will undoubtedly be reluctant to surrender his Premier League crown so early on in the season, but it will be very difficult to catch Manchester City if they carry on playing in the manner they have in recent weeks.

For Chelsea, it may be worth adjusting our expectations. If we fall short in the title-race, let’s make sure we finish inside the top three and win a domestic, or European, trophy.
Liverpool are in fifth place in the table and will likely prove to be one of our major competitors for automatic Champions League qualification.
We don’t expect Conte to sit back, and will likely see Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard spearhead the attack once again.
