Tiemoue Bakayoko
Timoue Bakayoko has struggled to put in consistent performances since joining Chelsea.

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko appears to be OK.

The Sun reported last week that the Frenchman had pulled up during a sprint session at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground with what appeared to be a muscle injury.

Bakayoko was not called up by Didier Deschamps to represent the France national team, and instead remained in England for training with the Premier League champions.

However, despite the initial injury scare, it does not appear that there was any serious damage done to Bakayoko. The former AS Monaco midfielder posted the below photo on Instagram of himself working hard in the gym.

Conte will breathe a sigh of relief

Bakayoko enjoyed arguably his best performance in a Chelsea shirt so far against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the 1-0 victory.

The prospect of Conte losing him will undoubtedly given him a few sleepless nights, but he can now rest easy with the knowledge that he appears to be absolutely fine.
