Now here’s a transfer rumour that we could get behind…
As the Daily Mail report, Antonio Conte has added fuel to speculation that he could look to re-sign midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Conte and Vidal worked alongside each other during their time with Juventus. Vidal was considered among the best central-midfielders on the planet at time, and he developed into a far more accomplished player under the stewardship of Conte.

Nowadays, Vidal is a Bayern Munich player and Conte holds the reins at Stamford Bridge, but could the pair reunite in the future to enjoy even more success together? Conte is certainly not ruling it out.
The Daily Mail report that Chelsea have been linked with a move for Vidal, and Conte has done little to dampen the speculation.
The Italian is quoted by the Daily Mail singing Vidal’s praises:
“Arturo is a fantastic player, I have a great respect for Arturo, and we spent many years in Juventus together.”
“If we go to war, I’d always want him with me.”
Whether or not Vidal is realistically obtainable remains to be seen, but don’t be surprised if the rumours intensify as we approach the January transfer window.
