Chelsea are set to be let down by Juventus once again as the Serie A giants are adamant Alex Sandro is staying at the club, the Independent reports.
Antonio Conte has been desperate in signing a left-wing-back and Alex Sandro is seen as the Blues manager’s preferred target in this position.
This strong stance comes after The Old Lady failed in recalling Leonardo Spinazzola on loan from Atalanta.
As per the Independent, Manchester United has also emerged as contenders to land Sandro but are happy to wait till the summer to strengthen in this area.
Juventus are also currently involved in a competitive title race, being one point behind front runners Napoli in the Italian top flight.
Have Chelsea got a Plan B to Sandro?

There’s no doubt about it that Sandro is the most-talked about Chelsea transfer target right now. However, there have been whispers that the Blues are looking at alternatives.
Most recently, FC Porto left-back Alex Telles has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge by Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
Despite Juventus’ current stance, don’t be surprised if Chelsea still line-up a bid for the 26-year-old. If not, Conte will need to look at other options in this position, not just Telles.
