This is one report that we never thought we’d be writing. Chelsea are considering re-signing legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech from Arsenal, according to Sky Sports‘ Kaveh Solhekol.
Solhekol sent out the below tweet on Tuesday evening, to the amazement of Chelsea fans, and football fans as a whole.
Chelsea considering re-signing Petr Cech if/when they sell Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid. Chelsea also interested in Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel. Liverpool have made big move for other Chelsea target Alisson.

36-year-old Cech first joined Chelsea in the summer of 2004 from Rennes for £7m and having won the Premier League four times and the Champions League he moved to Arsenal in 2015 for £10m.
He’s arguably the best goalkeeper in our history, only Peter Bonetti comes close.
In 2014, it became clear that the end was near for him as a Chelsea player.
Thibaut Courtois’ drastic development out on-loan at Atletico Madrid meant that he could no longer be ignored by the club. He returned, at Cech’s expense.
Cech has spent the past three-years with Arsenal. They have, though, recently recruited Bernd Leno, who will likely take up the number one spot.
With Courtois now thought to be off to Real Madrid, Chelsea may soon find themselves in need of a replacement.
Could Cech be that man? It’d be one of the shocks of the summer…
