The full details of Chelsea’s transfer negotiations with AS Roma over signing both Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri have been revealed by the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.
Dzeko and Palmieri would both be worthwhile additions to increase competitiveness in Antonio Conte’s squad ahead of the busy schedule ahead. We have looked lacklustre and laboured in recent weeks and Conte ought to see the transfer market as an opportunity to give his troops a much needed wake-up call.

The Chelsea board appear to have sprung into action in order to satisfy Conte’s demands, with Di Marzio claiming that we are now in double-negotiations to sign both players from AS Roma this winter. You may recall that we already signed Antonio Rudiger from the Serie A outfit in the summer transfer window.
The intricacies of the deal, as per Di Marzio, are that Chelsea are prepared to pay £44M, plus the loan of Michy Batshuayi, in exchange for Dzeko and Palmieri. Di Marzio believes that AS Roma will do business if we stump up an extra £13M, meaning that the double-deal would be worth in the region of £57M.

Only time will tell if Chelsea are prepared to meet the asking price, but we seriously ought to. Our season is stagnating and we need to use this transfer window wisely to kick-start our campaign ahead of our Champions League clash with Barcelona. The signing of these two players may well be the answer…
Isn’t dzeko cup tied
Dzeko will be a good Signing but are Kurzawa or Alex Telles not better Left Wing Back options than Emerson Palmieri ,
