Chelsea will reportedly push-on with the signings of two players after securing the signatures of Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho.
After a previously quiet summer transfer window, Chelsea exploded into life on Wednesday by virtually securing deals to sign Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho from Napoli.
Sarri will now have the entirety of pre-season to educate his players on his philosophies and ideas, while Jorginho will be provided with an opportunity to gel with his Chelsea teammates ahead of his debut season in Blue.
Jorginho may not be the only new arrival in West London this month, however. According to the Mirror, Chelsea are also hoping to complete deals to sign CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin and Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.
Chelsea have a real chance to make this summer one to remember. We ought to get these deals over the line and then Sarri can consider whether he needs any further additions.
