Chelsea winger Kenedy has reportedly agreed to return to Newcastle United on a season-long loan.
Nobody affiliated with Chelsea football club has ever doubted Kenedy’s talent. His temperament, his commitment to the cause, his attitude as a whole – perhaps. He is supremely talented, though.
The Newcastle faithful will have seen that first-hand during the five-months he spent at St. James’ Park at the tail-end of last season. He fast became a fan favourite, scoring two goals and providing two assists for his teammates.
Rafa Benitez was so impressed with what he saw of Kenedy, he’s made his move to re-sign him. According to the Daily Mail, the deal’s as good as done. Kenedy will spend the 2018/19 campaign as a Newcastle player.
The report claims that RB Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were all keeping tabs on Kenedy, so we’re delighted that the club have decided against cashing-in. This could prove to be an important season in his development.
