Victor Moses’ time as a Chelsea player has essentially come to an end, with the Nigerian signing for Fenerbahce on-loan until the summer of 2020.
Victor Moses has been a mixed bag at Stamford Bridge. He has never possessed the ability which would make him capable of nailing down a starting spot here, but he has proven to be a useful utility player, and overall a more than worthy acquisition.
He thrived under Antonio Conte, with the Italian switching to a three-at-the-back system and converting Moses into a right-wing-back. During the 2016/17 campaign, there was scarcely a more effective player in that position anywhere in the world.
He has fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri, who essentially confirmed previously that Moses is not a selection option for him. He’s very much in the Danny Drinkwater category, at least he was. Moses has now left Chelsea and signed for Fenerbahce.
Good luck at Fenerbahce, @VictorMoses! 👊

Moses joins the Turks on-loan until the end of the 2019/20 season. Though he is contracted at Chelsea until 2021, it’s difficult to see him ever pulling on the shirt again. Best of luck, Victor, and thank you for your excellent service!
