Chelsea have extended their advantage over Qarabag to three thanks to a goal from Cesar Azpilicueta.
Willian played a short free-kick into the path of Cesc Fabregas. Chelsea’s Spanish mastermind played a brilliant lofted ball into the penalty area, and Azpilicueta’s fired into the back of the Qarabag net with his head.
It seems likely that Chelsea, AS Roma and Atletico Madrid will all take six points off of Qarabag, so this result may count for little, but could prove to be important in terms of building momentum.
