Chelsea have added a second against Southampton at St. Mary’s through Ross Barkley, and the assist from Olivier Giroud was just ridiculous.
Barkley was named in the starting eleven today ahead of Mateo Kovacic, who started against MOL Vidi in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Maurizio Sarri’s decision was justified as Barkley tapped the ball into the empty Southampton net after a bicycle-kick assist from Giroud.
