Loftus-Cheek will have been disappointed not to have been given an opportunity to start today, with Maurizio Sarri instead fielding Ross Barkley in the third midfield position. He’s got his opportunity as a substitute, however, and boy is he making the most of it.
Loftus-Cheek pulled off an incredible piece of skill to bamboozle the on-rushing Man City player and played a pass through for Eden Hazard. Unfortunately, the Belgian was ruled to be offside, but take nothing away from this from Ruben. RONALDINHO-ESQUE!
