Riyad Mahrez’s penalty miss was not his only slip-up at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Mahrez was filmed in conversation with teammate Islam Slimani, and what he said next may offer considerable encouragement for the Chelsea faithful. Slimani commented on Chelsea’s title success, to which, according to the Metro, Mahrez replied that the Blues are an “incredible club” and “real club” in his native language.

Despite his hit-and-miss season, Mahrez is an exceptionally talented player. He would be more than welcome at Stamford Bridge.
