Gary Cahill scored a stunning header for England against Nigeria in their World Cup warm-up friendly against the Super Eagles.
Cahill had not scored for 13-months heading into today’s game. The Chelsea skipper found the back of the net eight times in all competitions during the 2016/17 campaign, a career high. However, he didn’t score once last time around.
With England soon heading to Russia for the World Cup, Cahill has hit goal-scoring form once again – and just in time!
Cahill fired home a bullet header from a corner, leaving the Nigeria goalkeeper with no chance, to give the Three Lions an early advantage over John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses’ side.
