The Chelsea managerial post may well soon come available, but Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly uninterested in having a second go at life in West London.
Antonio Conte’s time is up. He has fallen out with the board and Chelsea have fallen out of the top four. The only question remaining is who will come in to replace the Italian this summer.
As the Metro report, Ancelotti, who has coincidentally just moved back to London, has been linked with a stunning return to Stamford Bridge.
However, French outlet Le Parisien claim that Ancelotti has one eye on the Arsenal job following the announcement that Arsene Wenger would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
This may well be a blessing in disguise. Following our complete stagnation, we need a manager with fresher ideas. Ancelotti has the experience, but his chapter at this football club has closed, let’s not reopen it.
