Diego Costa is set to hold peace talks with Chelsea and could return to training with the club, according to the Daily Star.

As per the Daily Star, Costa has come to terms with the fact that he does not have a legal case with his current employers, and recognises that he may have no choice but to return to the club and attempt to make peace with Antonio Conte.

The Daily Star claim that Chelsea are considering suing the striker, and it’s through fear of that which could see Costa return to training at Cobham. The tabloid note that he also wants to ensure he has a chance of being called up by Spain for the 2018 World Cup, and returning to Chelsea will give him the chance to get fit ahead of a potential January move.

However, the Daily Star, unfortunately, add that there is little chance that Costa will ever be involved in the Chelsea first-team again, and if he does return, it will likely be to train with the U23 side.

A compromise reconciliation is a win win for both parties…He gets to play and maintain his fitness and Chelsea’s options up front are enhanced?
