If Eden Hazard does leave Chelsea in the near future, the Blues will still play at a great level.
That’s according to Marcel Desailly who spoke to Goal about how Chelsea will easily get over selling the Belgian winger.
The Frenchman who was with us for six years and became the club’s captain before John Terry, insists that Chelsea will still be great team without Hazard. The defender also confirmed owner Roman Abramovich’s commitment to the club, as Goal reports.
Desailly is quoted by Goal saying:
“We will be sad if Hazard has to go but I am sure that Roman Abramovich is still passionate about the club. He will bring in another player that can allow the club to be at the same level again.”
How would Chelsea replace Hazard?

There’s no doubt about it that the 26-year-old is virtually irreplaceable in this current Chelsea team.
In today’s market, I can’t think of many young players that will reach the levels the winger has reached with us.
I’ve always seen Charly Musonda as a long-term player here but can he produce the same success that Hazard has with us? I’m not so sure.
If a sale did happen, it will take patience to find the right replacement that can live up to Hazard’s name.
