Antonio Rudiger is not only enjoying life at club level having joined Premier League champions Chelsea from AS Roma in the summer transfer window – he’s also having plenty of success on the international stage.
Rudiger’s native Germany faced Norway in a World Cup qualifier on Monday night, brushing them aside 6-0, with the Chelsea centre-back playing the full 90 minutes.
After the game, Rudiger took to his Instagram page to celebrate the victory and performance by posting a photo with himself alongside veteran Mario Gomez.
It’s great to see players like Rudiger flying the flag for Chelsea on the international stage. He will likely be one of the many doing so at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
