Tianjin Quanjin are set to pull out of the race to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Daily Mail.

As per the Daily Mail, the Chinese Super League outfit were previously thought to be prepared to break the bank in order to land the Borussia Dortmund star, with suggestions they would pay a £70M transfer fee and offer him an eye-watering £500K-a-week.

However, the Daily Mail believe that Tianjin are prepared to abandon their pursuit of the Gabonese hitman, who is thought to be keen on joining Premier League champions Chelsea.

It is reported that Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to sign Aubameyang for £60M this summer, and the 28-year-old appears to be interested in making the switch to Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Mail report that AC Milan, where Aubameyang began his career, also plan to hold talks with the player’s entourage over a potential summer move – but Chelsea are very much in the race.

  1. There’s a great need to sign the new Striker this summary because Diego already has a low self-esteem this year to be the main striker as he said, ” I wish to I could Know”.

  2. Am in total support of Chelsea signing the Dortmund and Gabonese goal machine at that amount than buying morata at that huge amount before it’s too late. Up Blues.
