Chelsea have agreed a fee with Real Madrid to sign right-back Danilo, according to UOL.

As per UOL, Juventus were tracking the Brazilian for some time, but Chelsea’s financial power has allowed Antonio Conte’s side to take the lead in the race to secure his services, and it looks as though the Blues will be victorious.

UOL believe that Chelsea have found an agreement with Real Madrid in the region of £26M for the transfer of Danilo. It is reported that negotiations are already underway between the 25-year-old and the club over personal terms.

Danilo appears to have had his head swayed by Chelsea’s interest. UOL report that the opportunity to play regularly for the Premier League champions, in the best league in the world, is simply too good to turn down.

Real Madrid have not seen the best of Danilo during his time at the Bernabeu, but Conte may well be the right man to revitalise him.
