Chelsea have had a bid rejected for Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha, according to Sky Sports.
As per Sky Sky Sports, Antonio Conte is keen to draft in a right-sided player having missed out on signing Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has signed for Liverpool.
It is reported that the Italian is keen to sign someone who can provide competition for Victor Moses, who occupied the right-wing-back role for the majority of the previous campaign.
Sky Sports claim that Chelsea have turned to Bayern veteran Rafinha, but have had a bid rejected for the Brazilian, and it looks as though the Blues will have to look elsewhere – again.
With the clock ticking down towards the deadline, Chelsea need to act fast in order to ensure that Antonio Conte is not left short for the season that lies ahead. It won’t be Oxlade-Chamberlain, it’s not going to be Rafinha, but it needs to be someone.
