Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli’s president Auriello De Laurentiis has already contacted The Viola over a move for Chiesa. Whilst Chelsea and Inter are two other clubs interested in signing the youngster.
There’s a good relationship with the Blues and the Italian club after previously signing Juan Cuadrado and Marcos Alonso. Fiorentina may also not want to sell to a rival, boosting our chances of signing Chiesa.
However, Fiorentina are reluctant to sell another attacking midfielder after losing Bojan Valero and Federico Bernardeschi in the summer.
Chiesa has already showed glimpses of his talent this season, scoring two goals in all competitions. Antonio Conte may also look to strengthen the wing positions in January, especially if he continues to use the successful 3-4-3 formation.
