Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have made a new £30 million bid for Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater, according to Daily Telegraph correspondent Matt Law.
According to the The Telegraph, the Blues have already had a £15 million deal for the England international rejected by the Foxes, who do not want to sell one of their best players.
However, just under an hour ago, the Mirror reported that Leicester had made a bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva, a potential replacement for Danny Drinkwater should he be allowed to leave Leicester this summer.
And, it appears that Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Leicester’s transfer activity as the London club have submitted a new £30 million deal for the 27-year-old midfielder.
Taking to his official Twitter account, the Daily Telegraph’s Matt Law revealed the news to his followers with this tweet.
