Chelsea are set to make one final bid to try and sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, report Calciomercato.
Alex Sandro is widely considered one of the best full-backs in the world, and would be a direct upgrade on the man who is currently occupying the left-wing-back position – Marcos Alonso.
As unlikely as it seems that we would be able to convince Juventus to part with one of their prize assets on transfer deadline day, reports in Italy suggest that we are going to give it a go.
Calciomercato cite Premium Sport in reporting that the Premier League champions are going to table a last-ditch offer in hope that they can convince Juve to sell.
The Italian outlet claim that Sandro is valued in the region of £60M. It is reported that Chelsea have already had three bids turned down this summer, but it very much looks as though a fourth is on it’s way.
