Chelsea striker Diego Costa is edging closer to signing for AC Milan, according to Sky Italia journalist Angelo Mangiante.
On Tuesday evening, Mangiante sent out the below tweet, claiming that Costa’s agent Jorge Mendes is working on finding an agreement between the two clubs.

AC Milan’s summer spending has been one of the stories of the transfer window. The Serie A giants have already drafted in 11 players, including Leonardo Bonucci, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ricardo Rodriguez.
The Rossoneri do not appear to be done there, however, as Mangiante believes that Costa is next on their wish-list. Milan have already signed two strikers this summer in Andre Silva and Fabio Borini, as well as having Carlos Bacca and M’Baye Niang on their books.
Costa has been a fantastic servant during his time at Stamford Bridge, and it would be sad to see him depart. If we get a healthy transfer fee from the cash-rich AC Milan, however, it would certainly soften the blow.
