Chelsea have had a £73M bid rejected for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to Calciomercato.
Calciomercato believe that the Premier League champion’s interest in signing Sandro has been clear from day one. The Italian outlet believe that this is the fourth offer we have submitted for the Brazilian.
As per Calciomercato, the Blues initially offered £50M, a bid which was swiftly turned down by Juve. We increased our offer to almost £60M, which was also rejected. £64M, rejected. And now another.
Calciomercato claim that our eye-watering £73M offer has also been turned down. Calciomercato note that Chelsea had hoped that Sandro would push for a move to Stamford Bridge, but that hasn’t happened and it’s unlikely he will with such little time left in the summer transfer window.
It is reported that Antonio Conte is ‘furious’ that Chelsea haven’t been able to land Sandro, but if we are placing £73M bids and still seeing them get rejected, there’s not much more we can do.
