BREAKING NEWS. EMERSON PALMIERI IS A CHELSEA PLAYER.
The Brazilian left-back has been pictured at the Blues’ Cobham training ground holding the famous Chelsea shirt.
He completes his move from AS Roma and will provide Marcos Alonso with competition for the left-wing-back spot.
Welcome to the greatest club on Earth, Emerson. Let’s hope that his time in SW6 is long and prosperous.

Chelsea are also expected to complete the signing of Olivier Giroud from Arsenal on deadline day. Click here for more information on that one.
Palmieri and Giroud are two additions that will add much-needed squad depth to Antonio Conte’s squad. With the injury troubles we have suffered with this term, and the amount of fixtures we have in the coming months, they will both have their roles to play.
It will also give Conte an invaluable opportunity to rotate his squad ahead of our Champions League clash with Barcelona. It’s going to be tough, so giving Conte a chance to wrap his key players in cotton wool ahead of the game could prove decisive.
