Newcastle United have completed the signing of Chelsea winger Kenedy on a season-long loan, according to reports in The Mirror.
The Brazilian winger will join former Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez at the newly promoted side where the 21-year-old will hope to further his experience in the Premier League.
Kenedy secured a similar loan move to Watford last season, but was given only a handful of opportunities to display his talents. This season, it is hoped that the Brazilian will get more of a look in under Rafa Benitez who managed Chelsea during the 2012-13 season.
Kenedy had been part of Chelsea’s first team squad which flew to Asia this summer. However, the Brazilian winger was sent home from Chelsea’s tour of the Far East after posting offensive messages on his Instagram account about China.
Kenedy becomes the second Chelsea player to make the move to Tyneside this summer. Earlier in the window, the Magpies signed out of favour Blues winger Christian Atsu.
