Moses Goal Moses Goal

(Video) Victor Moses channels inner Eden Hazard from 12-yards as Nigeria crash out the World Cup

Victor Moses scored for Nigeria against Argentina last night, but it wasn’t enough to stop The Super Eagles being knocked out of the World Cup.

Nigeria dared to dream after their 2-0 victory over Iceland, but it wasn’t to be. Goals from Lionel Messi and Marcos Rojo carried the Argentines through to the knock-out stages at the Africans’ expense.

Moses already had three career goals to his name in World Cup qualification, but he had never before found the back of the net at a World Cup finals.

When Nigeria were awarded a penalty against Argentina, he stepped up to the mark and delivered for his country. You can see the goal below.

There are distinct similarities between the penalty techniques of Moses and Chelsea winger Eden Hazard. They wait for the goalkeeper to make his move before rolling the ball into goal.

It’s risky, but if it works, it looks great!
