Manchester City’s interest in signing Chelsea winger Eden Hazard is reportedly genuine, but he is just one of several players that the Premier League champions could make a move for this summer.
Hazard’s long-term future at Chelsea has been under the spotlight for some time now. The Belgian is yet to sign a contract extension with the Blues, with Real Madrid continually being linked with a move for our talisman.
However, perhaps Real are not the team that we should be keeping an eye on, it looks as though the most genuine threat to Hazard continuing as a Chelsea player is closer to home in the shape of Man City.
Goal report that City are genuinely keen to poach Hazard this summer. They are thought to have an inkling that he could be on the market later in the window, but he is not the only player that they are targeting.
Kylian Mbappe, Leon Bailey and Riyad Mahrez are all also thought to be targets for the team dubbed ‘The Centurions’. City are believed to be realistic in admitting that Hazard may be a pipe-dream, but he is certainly on their shortlist.
