A Chelsea fan has absolutely nailed a significant issue with Maurizio Sarri’s management – and plenty of the fanbase on Twitter appear to agree.
Sarri’s footballing philosophy proved to be plenty easier for him to introduce at Napoli than it has at Stamford Bridge. The players quite clearly do not believe in the football they are attempting to play. It reflects in the performances and our recent results.
As you will have seen, relations between the fanbase and the manager took a sour turn last night as virtually the entire Matthew Harding Lower were filmed chanting “f**k Sarriball”. We’ve never seen anything like that before, certainly not at this football club.
One of the main reasons that Chelsea fans have lost faith in Sarri is his stubbornness. He makes the same bloody substitutions game after game, and people have started to take notice.
We tweeted before the game offering every single one of our 50k+ followers a pint, on us, if Sarri brought Ross Barkley on for Mateo Kovacic on at some point during the game. Of course, it happened.
If Ross Barkley DOESN’T replace Mateo Kovacic at some time within these 90 minutes, we’ll buy every single one of our followers a pint. 🍺

Chelsea Twitter veteran @TekkaBooSon summed it up better than we ever could, sending out the below tweet, which went viral among the Chelsea community. Hilarious!
If Sarri had a 4th sub he’d sub Kovacic back on for Barkley

Looks out of his depth, obviously fighting for is job. If he dropped Jorginho played Kante in that position, replaced Kovacic with Ross and CHO instead playing the way in the second half against Manu maybe…..
