LOAN WATCH: Chelsea forward Izzy Brown is a loan target for Championship side Stoke City as the transfer deadline looms, according to a report published by the Daily Mail.
Brown has had a pretty torrid time out on loan since taking the plunge away from the shelter of Chelsea’s academy. At his age, he needs a successful stint away from Chelsea if he is going to have any chance of becoming a Premier League level player in his career.
According to the Daily Mail, Stoke are prepared to give him a chance in the Championship this coming season. The report claims that the Potters are hoping to strike an agreement with Chelsea to take the forward on loan for the 2019/20 campaign.
Chelsea’s loan army is looking scarce in comparison to season’s past, so it could certainly do with another addition in the shape of Izzy. He also needs the chance and the platform to impress. Whether Stoke could be the right fit for him, only time would tell.
