Chelsea are close to selling young Jimmy-Jay Morgan to Championship side West Brom, according to the BBC.

Nizaar Kinsella of the BBC is this afternoon reporting that Chelsea are in talks to sell one of their young talents.
He writes that West Brom are “progressing talks” to buy Jimmy-Jay Morgan from the Blues on a permanent transfer. The striker had a great season on loan at Peterborough in League One this season just gone, racking up 15 goal contributions in 34 league appearances.
He looks ready for the Championship – and West Brom clearly agree.
Chelsea ready to move on another young talent, hope to profit long term
Chelsea paid Southampton £3m for the then 17 year old Morgan back in 2022. It sounds like they won’t get much up front for his sale – but there will be a “substantial sell on clause” which allows us to more than break even should the youngster continue to work his way up the pyramid.
Already an England Under-20 international, if Morgan continues to score in the Championship it’s easy to see him moving for a big sum in a few years.
