Swansea join Newcastle and Brighton in race to loan Chelsea prodigy

Swansea City have joined the race to sign Chelsea prodigy Tammy Abraham, according to the Daily Mail.

As per the Daily Mail, Chelsea are keen to send Abraham out on loan so that he can gain invaluable top-flight experience and continue to develop into the player that he is destined to be.

The tabloid note that Swansea boss Paul Clement already knows Abraham well from his time at Stamford Bridge as a coach, and he may well make a move to sign the 19-year-old on loan this summer.

Swansea are not alone in the race to sign the England U21 international, however, as the Daily Mail report that newly-promoted Newcastle and Brighton are also keen to draft him in.

The interest in Abraham comes as no surprise, he found the back of the net 26 times in his debut season in professional football. A Premier League loan is the natural next step, only time will tell who will be lucky enough to sign him.
