Arturo Vidal has revealed his uncertainty over whether he’ll be at Bayern Munich next season with Chelsea keeping an eye on the midfielder, Kicker reports via The Metro.
The Chile international has been of interest to Manchester United as well as Chelsea with his current Bayern contract expiring in the summer.
With the Bundesliga champions elect signing Leon Goretzka for next season, Vidal isn’t sure where he will be playing his football next season, as he spoke to German news outlet Kicker.
The Metro translates Vidal saying:
“I know Goretzka will arrive at the club but I don’t know where he will be playing.
“As for my future I don’t know if I will leave or sign a contract extension with the club. We’ve taken the right path anyway.”

There’s also a fair amount of uncertainty in Chelsea’s midfield options for next season.
Whilst N’Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas are likely to stay at the Blues, Tiemoue Bakayoko’s disappointing season could signal his departure after just one season at the club.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek may also return to the Chelsea fold for the new campaign, coming back from his loan at Crystal Palace. Either way, Vidal would add strength in depth and could play with Kante or Fabregas.
