- Chelsea drawn with Tottenham in Carabao Cup semi-finals.
- Manchester City will face League One side Burton Albion.
- Has Craig Bellamy accidentally revealed the draw was fixed?
Chelsea have been drawn with Tottenham in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. Of course we have…
After Craig Bellamy accidentally revealed live on Sky Sports last night that Manchester City were set to meet League One minnows Burton Albion, we knew that this ‘fixed’ draw would set us up with a two-legged London derby against Spurs.

Jokes aside, though Tottenham are an incredibly strong side, and proved it by ending our unbeaten streak at Wembley, we fancy our chances of overcoming them over two legs – but there is one potential hurdle.
Though our manager has never won a trophy in his career to date, Tottenham are on one hell of a trophy drought of their own. They’ll be prepared to give a limb for the Carabao Cup, while our lot would take it or leave it.
It’s going to be an intriguing couple of games, that’s for sure. Whoever is victorious faces a nervous wait to see which English footballing superpower they’d meet in the final, Manchester City or Burton Albion.
