Merely half an hour into Chelsea’s visit to Manchester City this afternoon, many of the travelling supporters headed for the exit door.
Honestly, who can blame them?
We headed into this game knowing how difficult it would be. Maurizio Sarri revealed just how aware he was of the threats that City pose during his pre-match press conference. The question we would ask is – why the f*** did he not do anything to prepare his team for it?
Just 24 minutes into what is one of our biggest games of the season so far, City were 4-0 up. Chelsea fans, who will have paid a great deal of money in order to make the long trip up to Manchester, had seen enough and headed for the exit doors.
Loads have gone

Bye. Anyone know a pub in the northern quarter where the second half wont be on?

We would never usually attempt to justify fans leaving grounds early. In most cases, it’s not what you want to see. Today’s different. Today, the team absolutely deserve it.
This is the most toothless, spineless performance we have seen from Chelsea since… well, last week. Sarri is a dead man walking if we are unable to show some sort of revival in the second-half. Even if we are, there won’t be many fans left to witness it.
