Chelsea’s all-time leading goalscorer Frank Lampard may commence his pathway as a manager in spring, The Standard reports.
The Englishman has been taking his coaching badges whilst being a pundit for BT Sport.
Lampard has been giving the opportunity to work for the Blues under-18 team in partnership with the youth side’s coach Jody Morris at Cobham.

When speaking to The Standard, the 39-year-old insists he will layout his options when he earns the right to manage a club.
The Standard quotes Lampard saying:
“My A Licence will be finished in the spring, in the next few months or so. That gives me the opportunity to work.
“If the right opportunity comes up then I’ll take a view on it.”
Hopefully an opportunity at Chelsea will be there for Lampard whilst he could still potentially do his media work.
Frank, you are a success already.
